If you’ve decided to purchase your first home, you may be a little overwhelmed with everything. From the mortgage preapproval process to the home search, there’s a lot to understand and navigate. In the midst of it all, it’s okay to take a breath and remind yourself that it’s all worth it. Here are a few affirmations to help.
Let me a little transparent with you…
When I first launched the tiffanynicoleforever blog, I was all over the place. I couldn’t decide which direction I wanted to take my message. It’s the curse of having knowledge and experience in many different areas. I literally had no idea where to start. I even questioned if what I had to share could really make a difference in the lives of my audience. I didn’t want to be just another blogger, writing articles and creating content just because. I wanted to change lives.
The not so funny thing about fear and doubt is that they come out of nowhere. One minute I was super confident… the next, I was second guessing everything. Reminding myself that although I had life experience and loved writing, I hadn’t published new content since 2011 – and I had only (finally) completed my undergrad degree in 2012, after returning to school post-2009-economic-crash.
I was overwhelmed and under-convinced that the world needed my voice…
Secrets to manifesting
I don’t know anyone that doesn’t desire to manifest their dream life.
Makes a lot of sense… I mean whose life wouldn’t be better with a padded bank account, a home they love, or supportive and loving relationships? But there’s a deeper reason that you value and desire these things. It’s not necessarily the thing itself that you’re after. It’s how you think having what you long for will make you feel. So, let’s examine the reason why these things are important to you… The real reason behind the desire.

In order to attract the life you want, you must believe that you already have it.
If you’ve ever researched how or if affirmations work, you’ll find a variety of opinions, both positive and negative. I’ve read countless posts and comments from people stating that they didn’t get the desired result from affirmations, even after using them for an extended period of time.
I’ve heard and seen statements like:
“I tried saying affirmations and they did nothing for me.”
“I really wanted to believe that affirmations would work, and while they may work for others, they didn’t work for me.”
“Saying the same thing over and over again, every day isn’t going to change my life.”
I am deeply passionate about the power of words.
I believe that words have the ability to usher in greatness or confound with chaos. How we choose to use our words often determines what manifests in our lives. Our thoughts follow the words that we speak and our actions propelled by thoughts – so when you think negatively or with a lack of confidence, you begin thinking the same way and eventually, your actions will mirror those thoughts. However, when you speak with positivity, confidence, and faith, think of the possibilities?
We all have memories of something someone once said to us that sparked a fire in us, to do something different.
How many times have you mentally returned to that conversation for reassurance, validation or motivation? I want to help you free yourself from the need for someone else to speak something profound into your life, but encourage you to speak life into your own heart, into your business, and into your future… with affirmations.
Meaningful words stay with us and show us why it’s so critically important to speak with intention and resolve; knowing that even if it’s not immediate, your words will ultimately have a profound effect on your life, present, and future. Speaking affirmations is not just an exercise in repetition. It’s more than the reciting words or phrases day in and day out… It’s an intimate process, where your words and what you believe align to manifest your hopes and desires.
I love affirmations. If you follow this blog, then you may already know, that I believe in the power of words and the impact that positive speaking can have on your life. One of the secrets to effective use of affirmations is to make them a part of your daily routine. They will help to shift your mindset and also act as reminders of your worth, your abilities and your goals; like little prompts to ensure that you make the most of every day.
I was speaking with a (entrepreneur) friend recently and she was complaining about not being able to find people to purchase her products. I was surprised at the tone she used. No matter what I said to try to reassure and encourage her, she was firm in saying that “it’s impossible,” and that “There’s nothing else that I can do.” The more she spoke, the more I realized that she was completely convinced that there was no other option. As she continued, I noticed that everything about her signaled defeat. From her posture to the words that she was using, she had already decided that she couldn’t win.
Not knowing all of the details (i.e.: how much effort she was actually putting in, what her marketing pitch was like… etc.), I had no way to really know what the root cause was; but, something was telling me that her goal was not impossible. She just hadn’t found her stride yet. I encouraged her to not give up, to stay motivated and to not take her eyes off of her goal! Despite what I had to say, as we ended the conversation, I was reminded of how we take for granted how easily our words can become our reality.
