We’re all guilty of it… but this one steals our happiness often without us even realizing it. For example, you really don’t want to hang out with your sister tomorrow night – guess what? You don’t have to. Or you don’t want to look anti-social so you keep agreeing to drinks with your co-workers.

Repeat after me, “It’s okay to have boundaries and to do what I feel is best for me, my personal well-being, and my schedule”.

When you’re feeling heavy and are in need of a fresh perspective, write down what you’re grateful for. Not some long narrated script sounding list, but actually what you’re thankful for on that day.
