I Am Enough
#iamenough
Let me a little transparent with you…
When I first launched the tiffanynicoleforever blog, I was all over the place. I couldn’t decide which direction I wanted to take my message. It’s the curse of having knowledge and experience in many different areas. I literally had no idea where to start. I even questioned if what I had to share could really make a difference in the lives of my audience. I didn’t want to be just another blogger, writing articles and creating content just because. I wanted to change lives.
The not so funny thing about fear and doubt is that they come out of nowhere. One minute I was super confident… the next, I was second guessing everything. Reminding myself that although I had life experience and loved writing, I hadn’t published new content since 2011 – and I had only (finally) completed my undergrad degree in 2012, after returning to school post-2009-economic-crash.
I was overwhelmed and under-convinced that the world needed my voice…
But, I’m not a quitter…
I never stopped pursuing my goals but I was definitely treading in murky water. One day, I found a list of affirmations that I used to keep in my car and say every time I had to go somewhere – I know it sounds wonky to some… but I believe in setting my intentions and creating the day I want to have… The last one on the page caught my attention: I am enough.
I immediately wrote it down in my planner and started writing it as my daily affirmation on my Intentional Morning Worksheets. Every. Single. Day.
Sometimes we have to just focus on one affirmation at a time, to root it deep enough that we actually believe it.

The more I recited it, the more I changed my internal narrative. Whenever my goals or intentions were challenged, I would say this affirmation out loud and with resolve.
People don’t want to hear what you have to say.
I am enough.
There are a ton of authors, poets, and podcasts hosts out there that are already established and successful. How do you expect to get noticed?
I am enough.
You can’t make a living helping others create amazing lives.
I am enough.
I spoke those words to every defeating moment (and thought) that presented itself to me. And things started to shift. I am now starting to manifest my dreams, through retrained thoughts and beliefs that allow me to attract the life I once wished for. But it all started with choosing to be intentional with my words and affirming myself to myself, daily.

Every day I receive a message, text, or email from someone saying that something I said or wrote has helped to change their lives. I can only be grateful that I didn’t stop pressing forward, even when my mind said something different. So, the next time you find yourself doubting your own abilities or talking yourself out of doing something, I encourage you to boldly remind yourself:
I’ve been following you on Twitter for a little while now and I love what you share. Those “I Am” affirmations are the truth! I learned this about a year ago and when I started visualizing good things, what I wanted to happen, and listening to and repeating affirmations, my whole world began to change. I love what you have here and look forward to retweeting some more!
Hey LeTara! I’m so excited that we’re connected on Twitter – that’s where I’m most vocal. Your testimony just fuels my passion for intentional living and affirmations even more. When we discover how powerful we are… our whole lives change!
